Marine Bank & Trust Company is the only locally owned bank which is headquartered on Vero Beach's barrier island. Marine Directors are prominent leaders and residents of Vero
Beach. The Bank's main office is located at 571 Beachland Boulevard and
the Pelican Branch is located on the mainland at 1450 U.S. 1, both in Vero
Beach. Because Marine is locally owned and operated, all decisions are made right here in Vero Beach to best accommodate the requirements of our customers.

Mr.
Hazel brings over 20 years of banking experience as a shareholder and
director of two banks. He is also an investor and developer of commercial
and residential properties in Florida, Missouri and Minnesota.

Mr.
Lawrence brings over 24 years as president and chief executive officer of
community banks.
He is uniquely qualified in lending, trusts, operations and profit

Donald
L. Ames, M.D. Director
Dr.
Ames’ illustrious medical career spans four decades.
He is founder and managing partner of the doctor's offices known as Indian River Medical Center
and was
a medical consultant for over 38 years for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
He was the first surgeon to perform arthroscopic surgery in Florida and a significant
contributor to the local community.

Wilton R. (Rusty) Banack Director
Mr. Banack is a lifetime resident of Vero Beach. He is a graduate of Vero
Beach High School and Florida Southern College. He is president of Quality
Caretaking of Indian River, Inc. and owner/VP of Quality Fruit Packers of
Indian River, Inc. He is a member of the Florida Southern College Citrus
and Horticultural Planning Advisory Committee and serves as co-chair of the
United Way Agribusiness Division and alternate director of the Indian River
Citrus League. |

H. Chadwick Director
Mr. Chadwick retired from a career in commercial banking,
most recently as president and chief executive officer of Banknorth Group,
Inc. (Vermont), a $4 billion multi-bank holding company with community banks
in several states. He previously served three years as a director of
the Boston, Massachusetts Federal Reserve Bank. He currently serves as
elected trustee of the Indian River County Hospital District. Mr.
Chadwick is a graduate of Brown University, Providence, Rhode Island. |

S. Croom Director Mr.
Croom has been in the construction
industry for over 35 years and is the president of Croom Construction
Company of Vero Beach, which was founded in 1978. He has served as
chairman of the Board of Trustees of St. Edwards School, chairman of the
Vero Beach Planning and Zoning Board, president of the Kiwanis Club of Vero
Beach and president of the 100 Club of Vero Beach. He has recently
been elected (2006) to serve again on the Board of Trustees of St. Edwards
School. Mr. Croom received a degree in Industrial Engineering from the
University of Georgia and a MBA from the University of Miami. |

Mr.
Given brings over 17 years of experience in resort and private club/real
estate development management.
He is a partner in several real estate investment companies,
partner/owner of Med Express Urgent Care in Morgantown, West Virginia and
chief operating officer of Quail Valley Golf & River Clubs here in
Vero Beach.

professional experience.

Koehler brings over 23 years of commercial and residential real estate
experience, including developing Citrus Medical Plaza, North River Medical
building, The Atrium, and Bent Pine community.

Mr. Penney came to Marine Bank & Trust in March 2004 after serving as
Senior Vice President and Chief Lending Officer for Big Lake National
Bank for several years. He is the Marine’s Executive Vice
President & Chief Lending Officer, overseeing all the lending functions
of the bank.

G. Russell Petersen Director
Beginning as an engineer for NASA during the Apollo program, Mr.
Petersen brings over 34 years of experience as a trial attorney and has
his Vero Beach law firm, G. Russell Petersen, P.A. In addition, he is a
member of Federal & Supreme Court trial bars & appeals courts, has
represented several school boards, and is active in the local community.

R. Slater Director
Mr.
Slater brings 45 years of banking experience, including serving as
chairman, president and CEO of Wisconsin’s $5 billion Marine Corporation
and later on as vice chairman and director of Bank One Corporation, now JP
Morgan Chase. Most recently,
he founded Marine Bank & Trust Company and served as its first
chairman/CEO from 1997 to 2002. Prior
to becoming a banker in 1960, Mr. Slater was an instructor of economics at
Purdue University where he earned his doctorate.
He was an artillery officer during World War II, serving in the
Pacific Theatre and Japanese occupation.

C. Andrew Lawrence
Chief Executive Officer & President
Mr.
Lawrence started his banking career as an examiner for the Federal Reserve Bank
of Chicago. His twenty-four year community banking career as president
and CEO has taken him from The Bank of Northfield, in Northfield, Illinois to
Burling Bank in Chicago, Illinois. Most recently, Mr. Lawrence was Senior
Vice President/Senior Lender with First National Bank of South Florida located
in Homestead, Florida. Mr. Lawrence is a graduate of the University of
Illinois with a B.S. degree in economics and a graduate of the Stonier Graduate
School of Banking.
William J. Penney
Executive Vice President & Chief Lending Officer
Mr.
Penney graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 1978 with a degree in
Finance and graduated from the School of Banking of the South in 1984. His
banking career includes 18 years with Barnett Bank holding various management
positions. In 1996 he founded Penney Resources Incorporated, a financial
and business development consulting firm specializing in sales and risk
management programs for community banks. Mr. Penney came to Marine Bank
& Trust in March 2004 after serving as Senior Vice President and Chief
Lending Officer for Big Lake National Bank for several years. He is
the Marine’s Executive Vice President & Chief Lending Officer, overseeing
all the lending functions of the bank.
Steven C. Shackley
Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer & Chief Operations
Officer
Mr.
Shackley began his banking career in 1967 at Citizens Bank of Palm Beach County,
Florida. He later moved into the operations and finance department of
First American Bank of Indian River County, serving for eight years as Vice
President and Chief Financial Officer. After First American was sold to
SouthTrust Corporation in 1998, Mr. Shackley continued with the company as the
Bank's branch financial officer and coordinator for a multi-county area.
He joined the Marine in June 2003 as the bank’s Executive Vice
President, Chief Financial Officer & Chief Operations Officer.
Mary A. Cone Vice
President, Mortgages
Mrs.
Cone is a native of Florida and a graduate of the American Institute of
Banking and the Bert Rodger School of Real Estate.
She has taken numerous real estate courses and holds a real estate
license and a Florida mortgage broker license.
Mrs. Cone has been in banking since 1968 and has been a resident of
Vero Beach since 1981.
Prior to coming to the Marine in June 1997 as a Private Banker,
Mrs. Cone held various management positions at PNC Bank, Harbor Federal
Savings Bank and American Savings and Loan Association, all located in
Vero Beach.
She formerly held the position of Branch Manager at the Marine and
is currently the Vice President, Mortgage Banking.
Denise V. Finizio
Vice President and Branch Manager
Mrs. Finizio has over 11 years of experience in banking, beginning her
career as a Teller with NationsBank in Daytona Beach. Over the past decade,
she has held various branch management positions in St. Petersburg, Pinellas
Park and Largo, Florida, as well as Phoenix, Arizona. Mrs. Finizio joined
Marine Bank & Trust Company in January 2007, bringing with her a strong
focus on excellent customer service and positive communication. She serves
as Vice President and Branch Manager of the Pelican Branch, located on the
mainland.
Georgia L. Irish
Vice President and Branch Manager
Ms. Irish has nearly 20 years in the banking industry, with 15 of those
years as an Officer and Assistant Manager for First National Bank of Pa. She
moved to Indian River County in 2003 from Erie, Pennsylvania and was the
Assistant Vice President/Branch Manager of a local beachside bank before
joining Marine Bank & Trust Company in January 2007. Ms. Irish serves as
Vice President and Branch Manager of the beachside main office, overseeing
branch operations, consumer lending, account servicing and business
development.

Linda L. Sherman
Vice President/Cashier
Mrs. Sherman has over 25 years of banking experience spanning New York, Virginia
and Florida. Her background in banking includes the areas of sales, customer
service, consumer and residential lending, operations and branch management. She
has completed numerous courses offered by the American Institute of Banking as
well as local college courses in banking and accounting. She came to the Marine
in April 1999 as Operations Administration and was promoted to Operations
Supervisor in May 2002 and Operations Manager later that year. She assumed the
role of Security Officer in August 2003 and became Cashier in December 2003. In
September 2006 she was promoted to Vice President and in addition, assumed the
duties of BSA and Compliance Officers.
Karl L. Williams
Vice President, SBA & Commercial Loans
Mr. Williams has more than 25 years experience in banking. He started
his career in Erie, PA and moved to Florida in 1995. His primary focus
since 1987 has been commercial and SBA lending. He is a graduate of
Gannon University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business and a MBA in Finance.
He is also a graduate of the Central Atlantic School of Commercial Lending.
Mr. Williams has been active in commercial and SBA lending for 10 years on
the Treasure Coast. He joined Marine Bank in May of 2007 as Vice
President, Small Business Administration (SBA) and Commercial Loans.Top
