Once you have received your welcome email for Internet Banking, you are ready to login. You can expect to receive it approximately 3 business days after your enrollment packet is turned in. We email your welcome letter, unless you have instructed us otherwise. If it has been more than 3 business days and you still have not received your email, check your Spam or Junk email folder as your email provider may have delivered it there. If you are still unable to locate it, please contact the bank and we can re-send it to you.
During your first login, you will be required to change your Access ID & Password and setup additional security features. This one-time process should take approximately 5 minutes.
With your welcome email handy, go to www.marinebankandtrust.com.
In the upper-right corner of our homepage, you will see the Internet Banking login box. Make sure the "Personal/Business" option is selected, enter your account number as indicated on your welcome email, and click Go.
You may also click the eCom Login button at the bottom of this page to be taken to the login screen. The first screen will be for your Access ID (which is your account number as indicated in your welcome email).
Enter your temporary Password found in your welcome email and click Submit. This is case sensitive.
Create a new Access ID. This can be letters, numbers, or a combination of both. It must be between 6-16 characters in length and is case sensitive. If you prefer, you can leave it as your account number. If you choose to do so, just enter your account number again in the New Access ID field.
Create a new Password. This must be a combination of letters and numbers, be between 6-16 characters in length, and is case sensitive. You may use symbols, but it is not required. You must enter your new Password twice to confirm it.
When finished creating your new Access ID & Password, click Submit.
Confirm your email address. You should enter the same email address as indicated on your Internet Banking enrollment form. If your email address has changed, please contact the bank so we can officially change it.
Establish an Authentication Image & Phrase. This feature goes beyond just an Access ID & Password to protect your Internet Banking. The system will randomly choose an image for you (this can be changed later). Enter a word or phrase beneath the image to go along with it. This is not your password. For example, if the image is of a beach, you could enter "My Hawaiian Honeymoon" or "Summer Vacation 2009". However, your phrase doesn't have to relate to the picture. You can enter almost any combination of words.
Answer 3 Challenge Questions. You can click each question for additional choices. Your answers are not case sensitive, but they are sensitive to spaces and special characters.
Select Personal or Public Computer. This option determines if the Internet Banking system remembers your computer or not. Select Personal if you want the Internet Banking system to remember this computer and not ask you a Challenge Question during login. Or, select Public and you will be asked a Challenge Question at each login.
Regardless of which option you select, you will be shown your Authentication Image & Phrase at each login before entering your Password. This lets you know you are on the real Marine Bank website. If you do not recognize them, do not enter your Password. Close your browser and try to login again. If you still do not recognize your Authentication Image & Phrase, call the bank for assistance.
After selecting Personal or Public, you have finished the enrollment process. Click Submit and you will be taken to your Internet Banking session.
